CHAI PE CHARCHA

Amidst the peaceful Chittranjan Park market, there lies a sweet little cafe cum stall called Raju Da's The Singing Tree which is sure to lighten up your mood. Why cafe cum stall? Because it is more cleaner and bigger than an ordinary stall in all respects and smaller than a regular cafe. Roaming around in C.R. Park today craving for a cup of tea, me and my mum found this place at the nukkad. From a distance, it looked very ordinary and honestly I didn't even bother to pay attention to the details. Getting closer, I realized the difference. It had some beautiful wall hangings and banners hung around colorfully painted trees, under which people were sitting, sipping and gupp-shupping. The menu was quite big having variety of tea, coffee and other flavored drinks and the aroma was simply divine. It was my first time drinking chai in a Kulladh, and trust me it was the best tea I had in years.

Coming home, googled the place and found that it's name "singing tree" signifies the old bollywood songs heard from the speakers hidden away in the trees. Although they were not playing songs at that hour, but it still seemed like a happy place to be. Even with all the customers talking and laughing loudly, it was peaceful. Like a place where you can just sit for hours under the open sky and think clearly.
You can find the place in Google maps and visit with your friends, family or even alone. And trust me, you won't regret.

ANXIOUS INTROVERTS

Putting earphones on even when there are no songs in your phone. Having an expression of "I might kill somebody" on your face while in a crowded place. Tired of listening to people saying "stop shaking your legs!!" Staring into your phone and swiping the screen just to avoid looking around. *someone gives the right answer to a question* me (thinking): yeah I answered it before you...in my mind. Having THAT "I just fought with someone" look on your face, when actually you are just singing a song in your mind. A continuous train of thoughts...bhaag bhaag dk bose...running in your mind...kya chutiyapa hai...which you can't...what should i eat...control...what are other people thinking... Being termed as boring and arrogant because you are not outgoing and don't talk to people. Sitting alone for hours, staring out of the window and having that one thread among millions of thoughts singing...

HAPPY TEARS

Crying is actually good for us. People might say you are weak and that its for sissies. But a "healthy" crying might actually do some benefit. Tears release a natural painkiller called Leucine Enkephalin which relieves you of any kind of physical or emotional pain. W omen have been found to cry more than men and men have been found to suffer from more heart attacks than women (see what I am trying to say).  Found out about this while "surfing" (tears and pun intended) and trust me this whole tear system is quite fascinating, at least for me. So basically, put in really simple words (trust me), a neurotransmitter from our brain orders our tear system to activate its tap  and cry our eyes out. And then, there are not one, not two, but three types of tears.
